Probabilmente, i “puristi” del mondo Windows e quelli del mondo Mac staranno storcendo il naso in ugual modo, ma non possiamo farci niente. A noi i “mix informatici” affascinano molto, soprattutto quando sono ben realizzati come quello che vi presentiamo oggi.
Windows Icons, come avrete sicuramente intuito dalle immagini di anteprima, è un set di icone gratuito (diviso in due parti) che fa “traslocare” il mondo Microsoft, con tutte le sue applicazioni e tutti i suoi simboli più caratteristici, su iPhone… o quasi.
Insomma, non bisogna essere dei geni per capire che siamo al cospetto di un pack che – in maniera ufficiosa, più che ufficiale – dona l’elegantissimo stile delle icone presenti nel menu del telefonino Apple a tutte le icone potenzialmente presenti su ogni PC animato dal sistema operativo Windows. Da quelle relative alle cartelle a quelle inerenti le varie tipologie di file, passando per applicazioni celebri ed icone di sistema, c’è davvero di tutto.
Il contenuto di Windows Icons V1 e Windows Icons V2 è esclusivamente in formato ICO, quello naturalmente utilizzabile su sistemi Microsoft, magari mediante software gratuiti come iPhile.
