Chrome 24 disponibile per il download
In settimana vi abbiamo parlato dell’uscita di Firefox 18, oggi per par condicio vi segnaliamo anche la disponibilità di Chrome 24, nuova release del browser targato Google che ormai pare aver superato quello di Mozilla in tutte le statistiche di utilizzo.
La nuova versione stabile di Chrome aggiunge un po’ di turbo al motore Javascript (già rapidissimo) del browser e introduce il supporto a MathML, un linguaggio di markup matematico usato per rappresentare simboli e formule matematiche nei documenti Web. Da sottolineare inoltre il supporto sperimentale ai Custom Filters CSS e il tamponamento di ventiquattro vulnerabilità, di cui 11 classificate con massima priorità. Potete scaricare Chrome 24 per Windows, OS X e Linux dal link che trovate qui sotto. Questo vale per coloro che non hanno già installato il browser di Google, tutti gli altri se lo ritroveranno quanto prima sul computer grazie al sistema di aggiornamenti “silenzioso” che ha reso famoso il software.
Per gli utenti mobile c’è da segnalare anche l’apertura del canale Beta di Chrome per Android, che come quello desktop permette di provare in anteprima le versioni future del navigatore.
