Nuova nota ufficiale per il Samsung Galaxy Note 7: motivazioni surriscaldamento e sostituzione
Il Samsung Galaxy Note 7 è costantemente lo smartphone più discusso di questi giorni. Ieri abbiamo riportato la notizia secondo cui il device potrebbe essere bandito dagli aerei dopo i casi di esplosione segnalati dal pubblico, mentre oggi l’azienda coreana ha deciso di chiarire i motivi che hanno portato ai 35 casi segnalati in giro per il mondo.
A quanto pare, tutto nasce nel momento in cui l’anodo-catodo entrano in contatto. Si tratta fondamentalmente di un processo di fabbricazione estremamente raro, come il produttore ha cercato di chiarire attraverso una nota ufficiale:
“Based on our investigation, we learned that there was an issue with the battery cell. An overheating of the battery cell occurred when the anode-to-cathode came into contact, which is a very rare manufacturing process error.
This is not a device issue. The issue is isolated to the battery cell only.
We are working with multiple suppliers to ensure that a rigorous inspection process is conducted to ensure the quality of our replacement units and we do not anticipate any further battery issues”.
Va detto che Samsung ha respinto le accuse relative alla produzione in proprio della batteria in questione:
“Several Korean media articles identify Samsung SDI as the supplier of battery that is experiencing the issue? Can you confirm this?
A: In order to meet market demands, we are working with multiple suppliers. Unfortunately we will not be able to confirm this as we work with several suppliers. We are currently working with all of them to protect our customers’ safety first and foremost”.
La sostituzione del Samsung Galaxy Note 7, qui in Italia, è stata confermata con appuntamento fissato al 19 settembre.
