Si tratta di TweetForger, un servizio web che, gratuitamente e senza richiedere alcun tipo di registrazione, offre la possibilità creare tweets falsi da attribuire a qualsiasi utente iscritto a Twitter.
Utilizzare il servizio è davvero semplice poiché, una volta aperta la pagina web di TweetForger, tutto ciò che risulterà necessario fare non sarà altro che digitare il nome utente relativo all’account Twitter a cui si intende attribuire uno specifico tweet, digitare poi il testo del messaggio, spuntare la casella relativa ai termini d’uso e, infine, cliccare sul pulsante Forge Tweet!.
A questo punto l’utente verrà reindirizzato automaticamente alla pagina relativa al tweet falso che sarà dunque possibile condividere con i propri amici mediante l’apposita url assegnata.
Per avere un’idea del risultato finale che è possibile ottenere è sufficiente cliccare qui e vedrete far capolino un simpatico tweet generato, per così dire, da Barack Obama!
Ovviamente tutti i tweets generati sfruttando il simpatico servizio non soltanto non verranno inclusi nel flusso effettivo di messaggi pubblicati dagli utenti scelti ma saranno inoltre contraddistinti dalla presenza di un apposito indicatore, visualizzabile al passaggio del mouse, che rettifica il fatto che si tratta solo ed esclusivamente di un messaggio realizzato mediante TweetForger.
