Google, come ogni buon sito online, ha impostato dei filtri nelle ricerche. Questi filtri, oltre che ha permettere una ricerca più mirata sono imposti anche nei risultati di ricerca dove evitano di mostrare dei risultati non proprio leciti. Come ben sappiamo, internet è (forse) la patria del Porno. Tutti dicono che su internet si può trovare facilmente delle immagini che possono dar fastidio a molti utenti della rete. E questo è vero.
Proprio per questo motivo, Google oltre ad applicare questi filtri sta inserendo in questi giorni anche dei moduli dove i visitatori del motore di ricerca di Google, se trovano delle cose che considerano poco “normali” è un po’ offensive, possono utilizzare questi moduli per segnalarle a Google e quindi invitare il motore di ricerca a verificare e poi decidere sul da farsi.
Questo modulo, anche in maniera molto semplificata, è stato inserito anche nei risultati delle ricerche di Google images, la divisione di Google Search che indicizza tutte le immagini presenti nei siti internet. Come vedete dallo screenshot sopra, questa funzione è disponibile anche nella versione Italiana del motore di ricerca. Come funziona? Basta effettuare una ricerca in Google Images, dopo se vedete delle immagini poco lecite o che vi sembrano troppo “forti”, potete utilizzare quel modulo cliccando sul link che vedete evidenziato nella foto sopra.
Cliccando su quel collegamento, vi si aprirà una pagina con tutte le immagini che stanno nella pagina dei risultati di ricerca. Vicino ad ogni immagine è presente un piccolo quadratino, cliccandoci sopra metterete una piccola spunta verde. Dopo basterà premere su “Segnala Immagini Selezionate” e la segnalazione verrà inviata direttamente a Google. In che modo Google gestisce queste segnalazioni è tutto da capire, non si sa’ ancora se vengono vagliate da persone oppure in base al numero di segnalazioni ricevute l’immagine viene poi presa in considerazione, tutto da capire.
Come sempre il sistema di segnalazione di Google è molto semplice ed efficace. Come ben sapete, Google punta da sempre sulla semplicità di utilizzo dei propri prodotti e anche questo è un segnale in più verso una semplificazione maggiore.

Al limite l’unico uso sensato che si può fare di questa cosa è aiutare l’algoritmo che usa google per filtrare le immagini con la protezione safesearch attivata… così chi la disattiva non avrà comunque nessun filtro.
Cioè se un’immagine considerata offensiva viene visualizzata anche con la protezione attiva e se arrivano sufficienti segnalazioni, allora la si elimina… ma sempre dal contesto della protezione.

Bhe sono d’accordo con il discorso dei culi che fa Usaikarts, ma un filtro sarebbe utile, perchè su google immagini si tovano facilmente immagini che nessuno vorrebbe vedere, troppo facilmente. Almeno che prima di ritornare i risultati di una ricerca che si potrebbe ritenere offensiva sarebbe meglio per lo meno mettere un messaggio tipo quello per l’accesso all’ area solo ai maggiorenni
