Sembrava impossibile che il numero di applicazioni per iPhone potesse raggiungere un numero simile, viste le precedenti statistiche, eppure a quanto pare l’enorme vastità di applicazioni già approvate e la sempre maggiore richiesta di applicazioni da parte degli utenti hanno sviluppato molto la voglia di fare e la fantasia degli sviluppatori, che hanno contribuito al raggiungimento di uno straordinario traguardo: 100.000 applicazioni per iPhone approvate.
Nonostante Apple non abbia ancora rilasciato una dichiarazione ufficiale, è possibile leggere il conteggio aggiornato in tempo reale sulla directory non ufficiale AppShopper. Nel momento in cui scriviamo, il conteggio delle apps è arrivato a 101.862. Verrebbe da chiedersi quale sia il numero delle applicazioni realmente utili, e quante siano invece tutte quelle applicazioni molto semplici che però hanno un grado d’utilità prossimo o pari a zero.
Il grande lavoro dei developers resta comunque fuori discussione, vista anche l’enorme crescita in questi ultimi mesi: si è passati dalle 65.000 applicazioni di agosto alle 100.000 di oggi.
