Per la gioia di tutti i più accaniti utilizzatori dei servizi targati Google e, nello specifico, di Gmail, qui su Geekissimo, nel corso del tempo, abbiamo avuto modo di dare uno sguardo ad una svariata serie di apposite risorse mediante cui monitorare agevolmente la ricezione di nuove e-mail direttamente dal proprio desktop mediante l’ausilio di appositi notificatori.
Tuttavia, nel caso in cui le risorse proposte non fossero state di vostro gradimento o, molto più semplicemente, sino ad ora non avete ancora individuato un tool pratico ma efficiente in grado di soddisfare le vostre aspettative, allora, molto probabilmente, un applicativo quale Gmail Peeper potrebbe interessarvi!
Si tratta infatti di una risorsa gratuita ed utilizzabile solo ed esclusivamente su OS Windows che, in modo semplice ma accattivante, consentirà di verificare la presenza di nuovi messaggi di posta nel proprio account Gmail senza dover aprire il browser, monitorando la propria casella di posta un po’ come sei si trattasse di un feed RSS.
L’applicativo presenta un interfaccia piuttosto semplice permettendo dunque di configurare al meglio il proprio account nel giro di qualche click e rendendolo monitorabile direttamente dall’area di notifica del sistema, con tanto di contatore di e-mail non lette incluso, così com’è possibile notare dando un’occhiata all’immagine d’esempio.
Tra le altre interessanti caratteristiche relative a Gmail Peeper vi è inoltre la possibilità di eseguire l’applicazione direttamente all’avvio del sistema e la possibilità di impostare un intervallo di tempo determinato per verificare la presenza di nuove e-mail nella propria casella di posta elettronica.
