Stando a quanto emerso di recente, la terza generazione di Apple Watch, la cui presentazione dovrebbe avvenire a settembre del 2017, non dovrebbe riservare grandi sorprese rispetto a quanto attualmente in commercio.
Ovviamente, per il momento non si tratta ancora di un’informazione diffusa in via ufficiale da Apple ragion per cui la questione è ancora tutta da confermare ma, secondo alcune fonti riportate dall’Economic Daily News, pare che l’azienda non sia intenzionata a lanciare uno smartwatch dal rinnovato aspetto estetico. Per la terza generazione di Apple Watch vi sarebbero dunque in cantiere nuove e migliori funzioni racchiuse però nella medesima scocca di Apple Watch Series 2.
Nel dettaglio, stando a quanto reso noto dalla testata asiatica, i nuovi Apple Watch saranno probabilmente prodotti da Quanta. Secondo quanto avrebbero rivelato alcuni informatori anonimi vicini all’azienda, Apple non starebbe pianificando una rivoluzione estetica per il suo orologio smart bensì solo un miglioramento delle prestazioni. La stessa Quanta, inoltre, non avrebbe voluto commentare la notizia, spiegando come si tratti semplicemente di una “speculazione di mercato”.
In attesa di saperne di più a riguardo, ricordiamo che nelle scorse settimane diversi analisti d’oltreoceano hanno parlato di possibili novità proprio sul fronte della scocca, dopo un biennio di design rimasto praticamente invariato, anche grazie alla pubblicazione di un brevetto per l’inserimento del meccanismo di feedback aptico all’interno del cinturino del dispositivo. Gli analisti hanno parlato anche della possibile compatibilità con le connessioni cellulari, affinché lo smartwatch possa essere sfruttato in modalità standalone e senza un iPhone abbinato.
