Sui parlamentari italiani nel corso degli anni si è detto tutto e il contrario di tutto. Ma dov’è che inizia la retorica e dove, invece, la realtà dei fatti? Per cercare di capire in modo dettagliato e analitico lo stato delle cose nei due rami del parlamento italiano, arriva in nostro soccorso openparlamento, che ha lo scopo di aiutarci a rintracciare i dati di fatto su quello che accade ogni giorno in Parlamento, permettendoci di seguire passo passo le attività del singolo parlamentare, le vicende del disegno di legge o della mozione.
Openparlamento è uno strumento creato da openpolis, un’associazione senza scopo di lucro e “indipendente da partiti e movimenti politici” che promuove l’uso della rete e di software open source per favorire la trasparenza pubblica e la partecipazione collettiva al controllo delle informazioni e delle scelte politiche. Openpolis è famosa sul web per due sue importanti strumenti: voisietequi.it ed openpolis.it.
Con una semplice iscrizione gratuita, l’utente potrà ricevere aggiornamenti su tutto ciò che viene prodotto in Parlamento a proposito di un determinato argomento direttamente all’interno della sua pagina personale o via email. Gli utenti hanno anche la possiblità partecipare pubblicando la propria opinione (tramite commenti e tramite voti) sulla singola proposta, sul singolo voto e decisione che ogni giorno i rappresentanti eletti assumono in Parlamento e che ogni giorno pesano sulla nostra vita.
E’ possibile, inoltre, visualizzare informazioni e statistiche sui parlamentari e sulla loro attività, tramite classifiche (con i deputati e i senatori più presenti, più attivi e più ribelli, cioè i parlamentari che più spesso votano in maniera difforme rispetto il gruppo di appartenenza), indici di attività (che prende in esame il numero e la tipologia di atti prodotti dai parlamentari in modo da poterli confrontare tra di loro) e tramite il grafico delle distanze (che mostra le distanze tra i deputati e senatori ricavate confrontando i voti espressi nelle votazioni elettroniche finora svolte).
