Ho provato il servizio, è pessimo.

Lo spazio è espandibile all'infinito, ma pagando. Così come bisogna pagare per rimuovere le inserzioni pubblicitarie sul sito o il copyright di Ucoz su ciò che ha sviluppato.

Vero rivale di Altervista? Non credo proprio … cmq bell'articolo Francesco. 😀

Bah, che dire … meta' dell' articolo e' falso !

Tanto per iniziare NON e' illimitato, ma datto 400 MB di spazio (in aumento, tipo gmail per capirsi), se se ne vogliono di piu' si pagano (10 GB per 1 anno, sui 250 dollari), quindi nemmeno prezzi decenti, tenendo conto che Aruba da domini VERAMENTE illimitati a 22 euro piu' iva all' anno.

E che il limite e' 400 MB si vede benissimo appena si e' creato un dominio…

Il dominio e' di terzo livello, e questo ci si poteva aspettare…

Ha integrati dei banner, se si vogliono levare bisogna pagare.
Ha integrato un bel "made by ucoz", se si vuole levare, si deve pagare…

Ora veniamo al peggio pero' …
C'e' la procedura guidata per creare siti, blog, forum…semplice, veloce, solo in inglese…
E se io lo volessi in italiano ?
O se volessi usare un diverso cms ?
O se volessi mettere un sito fatto da me ?

Come gia' detto non e' possibile usare pagine dinamiche (PHP, ecc…), ma NEMMENO STATICHE, infatti se si tenta di caricare un normalissimo file HTML il risultato sara' (per l' FTP): "errore 553-Prohibited file extension (.html, .htm or .shtml): nomefile.html"
Inoltre non dispone di DB MySQL.

Quindi riepiloghiamo…
E' pieno di pubblicita' e' su un sottodomionio di terzo livello, da solo 400 MB di spazio, non si possono caricare propri siti o cms, si fa pubblicita' da solo…NON ha il MySQL

A questo punto e' molto meglio "ilbello" o "netsons", che danno, l' ultima volta che ho controllato, davano 150 MB di spazio per uno, danno il servizio MySQL, o ancora meglo i sottodomini di "autistici inventati", che non hanno limitazioni se non il buon senso, dato che l' hosting e' diviso su tutti gli utilizzatori, non hanno pubblicita', puoi metterci il sito o cms che vuoi tu, che hai fatto tu, ecc…

"sto" e "fa" si scrivono senza accento. E la "è" maiuscola si scrive con l'accento, non con l'apostrofo. Così: È

Non lo conoscevo proprio, sembra che non abbia proprio nessun difetto o limite questo servizio.
Visto che lo spazio illimitato non esiste sarei proprio curioso di sapere quanta banda e quanso spazio sia effettivamente garantito 🙂

Neache io lo conoscevo, poteva essere da provare se nella pagina "about us" non ci fosse scritto:

Ho provato anche io il servizio…per chi è alle prime armi e non vuole smanettare con i codici va bene….sicuramente non fa per i geek, ci sono molti template ma si è abbligati al loro volere.
Ho trovato un sito interessante che ti da dominio gratuito .net .it com ecc senza sottodomini con 300mega di spazio e 2 gb di traffico al mese…(sono pochini) ma consideriamo che il dominio .it ecc costano già 10 euro l'anno, questo servizio li offre gratuitamente,meglio di niente 🙂

Di servizi gratuiti sia italini che stranieri ne ho provati un casino, ma l'unico che vale veramente la pena utilizzare e' netsons, con una versione gratuita molto valida. Ne esistono di due versioni: una fino a 150MB senza pubblicita', l'altra fino a 500MB con banner pubblicitario. E' molto valido e sempre funzionante, dove si puo' crere qualsiasi sito manualmente o con i vari cms.
Tutti gli altri che ho provato, erano lenti, a volte non si apriva la pagina o altri problemi simili, molte volte non riuscivi a collegarti via ftp o si bloccava nel bel mezzo di un caricamento.
Che dire di questo: offre troppo per essere gratuito, non so fino a quanto possa essere valido e quanto durera' (molto hanno chiuso dopo alcuni anni)
Quindi alla fine non impazzite a cercare un servizio gratuito: se non avete tante pretese per il vostro sito, il mio consiglio va a NETSONS, abbastanza veloce e sempre online e in cambio non vi chiede nulla (apparte uno spazio banner a seconda del servizio richiesto).

Come servizio gratuito, offre troppo. Di servizi simili ne esistono diversi, sopratutto stranieri, ma nessuno funziona alla perfezione.
Un vero servizio da 5 stelle (anche oltre), e' netsons, tutto italiano e abbastanza veloce e sempre online, grtuito fino a 500MB (150MB senza pubblicita'). Lo uso tutt'ora e ve lo consiglio. Lasciate perdere quelli che vi vogliono offrire tanto e poi?

io preferisco di gran lunga Jimdo: versione gratis, quelle a pagamento sono accessibili e hanno anche il negozio.. e poi e` tutto in italiano!

… ed io invece uso da sempre (tre mesetti) 000webhost. E' la mia priam esperienza con la creazione di siti web. E – nonostante appunto sia neofita – non ho avuto alcun problema a metter su il mio sito con questo (gratuito) servizio di hosting.
