Avviando il vostro Word 2010/2007 vi siete ritrovati al cospetto del messaggio di errore “Impossibile creare il file di lavoro. Controllare la variabile temporanea di ambiente”? Probabilmente avete usato qualche programma per cancellare file temporanei che non ha fatto un buon lavoro ed ha sballato le impostazioni relative alle cartelle TEMP di Windows.
In ogni caso, non preoccupatevi. Basta dire nuovamente a Windows qual è la cartella in cui conservare i file temporanei e tutto tornerà a funzionare come prima: niente più messaggi di errore all’avvio di Word e niente più problemi sparsi nel celebre programma di videoscrittura targato Microsoft. Se volete scoprire come in dettaglio, continuate a leggere.
Metodo 1
Se volete liberarvi del messaggio di errore “Impossibile creare il file di lavoro” di Office 2010 e 2007, non dovete far altro che aprire Internet Explorer e accedere alle Opzioni Internet (tramite l’icona dell’ingranaggio situata in alto a destra). Cliccate dunque sul pulsante Impostazioni della Cronologia esplorazioni e spostate la cartella dei file temporanei, facendo click sull’apposito pulsante, nella posizione sotto indicata.
C:\Users\[proprio nome utente]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
Metodo 2
Se non volete impelagarvi in browser, menu e sotto-menu, armatevi di Editor del registro di sistema e cambiate la posizione della cartella dei file temporanei da lì. La procedura la trovate illustrata qui sotto.
- Recarsi nel menu Start;
- Digitare regedit nella barra di ricerca veloce e premere il tasto Invio per accedere all’Editor del registro di sistema;
- Recarsi nella cartella HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ User Shell Folders;
- Fare doppio click sulla chiave Cache;
- Assegnargli come valore %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files.
Per sicurezza, riavviate il PC e, al nuovo accesso a Windows, dovreste poter avviare il vostro Word senza problemi. Buona fortuna!
