Spotify, un servizio di streaming musicale che mette a disposizione un database contenente ben 20 milioni di canzoni. Ormai il noto brand ha ottenuto un clamoroso successo e proprio recentemente vi abbiamo informato delle ultime news riguardanti la nota piattaforma. Nel mese di ottobre, Spotify ha fatto sapere al mondo che l’80% delle canzoni disponibili sono state ascoltate almeno una volta. Questo non solo significa che il servizio sta ottenendo molti consensi, ma anche che ben 4 milioni di brani non sono stati mai riprodotti da nessuno. E se queste ultime meritassero?

Questi brani inascoltati hanno stuzzicato un gruppo di sviluppatori amanti della musica. Questi ultimi sono rimasti scioccati dalla notizia che oltre 4 milioni di canzoni erano perse nei meandri di Spotify,  proprio per questo hanno deciso di lanciare Forgotify, un servizio che darà una chance a questi brani trascurati.

Approdando sull’applicazione web, potrete ascoltare queste canzoni dimenticate tramite un piccolo player. In realtà, cliccando su Play si aprirà automaticamente Spotify Web Player. Cliccando sul tasto “Next” cambierete canzone e selezionando il bottone “share” avrete la possibilità di condividere una canzone su Facebook. Inoltre, l’app vi consente di ottenere rapidamente ottenere il codice Embed del brano o il suo link.

Durante le nostre prove abbiamo potuto appurare che alcuni brani meritano di essere ascoltati, almeno una volta! Apprezziamo particolarmente quest’interessante trovata che vi permetterà di ascoltare delle canzoni che, non essendo mai state riprodotte, sono davvero dedicate ad un pubblico di nicchia. Di certo non troverete mai un brano di Miley Cyrus.
