HarmonyOS (HongMeng OS ) è il sistema operativo distribuito basato su microkernel di Huawei, progettato per offrire una nuova esperienza utente su tutti i dispositivi e scenari. Per chi non lo sapesse, Huawei ha lanciato HarmonyOS 2.0 (Hongmeng OS) insieme a EMUI 11 il 10 settembre alla Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020. Questa nuova versione ne migliora le funzionalità come le capacità distribuite, inclusi software, gestione dei dati e sicurezza.

Nel corso di un evento atteso come HDC 2020, Huawei ha annunciato che HarmonyOS 2.0 sarà aperto agli sviluppatori per le piattaforme tra cui smart TV, orologi, e unità di testa. Alla fine dell’anno, a dicembre 2020, la versione beta dello smartphone HarmonyOS 2.0 era pianificata in primo luogo per gli sviluppatori cinesi.
Di recente, un informatore di Weibo ha condiviso un post sulla versione beta di HarmonyOS per smartphone.
